Heart To Hand School was founded and is supported by Desert Sage Educational Initiative, a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3), charitable nonprofit educational corporation. The School was created in 2000 as a Waldorf educational initiative.
When children play, they have a powerful sense of ownership over what they do: their actions declare that "we are in charge of what happens". Waldorf education harnesses that feeling of agency and involvement to unlock childrens' enthusiasm for learning.
Heart To Hand School is a community of parents, faculty, trustees, and supporters dedicated to nurturing children with enlightened purpose and wisdom. We care with heart’s love for one another, striving to bring light into all that we think ... warmth into all that we feel ... and strength into all that we do.
