The Heart To Hand School community is comprised of faculty, current families, staff, board members, former families, study group members, the Waldorf homeschooling network, prospective families, and a beautiful variety of other individuals and organizations who share our values.  We all contribute to one another our time, energy, creativity, and resources of all kinds.

It was 90 years ago that the first Waldorf school opened with financial backing from a single private donor, Emil Molt.  Over the decades, individual philanthropy in support of Rudolf Steiner’s inspired vision of a truly holistic education has turned the vision of Waldorf education into reality.  There are now an estimated 2500 Waldorf schools, initiatives, and cooperatives around the globe in at least 60 countries.

Heart To Hand School is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization. It does not receive operating funds from the local, state, or federal government.  80% of the school’s operating income comes from tuition and fees; the remainder through philanthropic support.  The expansion of our programs and facilities is supported 100% by donors.
